I am lucky to have a very loving and supportive family. The night my beautiful girls were born one of my sisters was able to be there and she took pictures I will treasure forever. She took many photographs of my beautiful angels and their sweet, sleeping faces. On my blog I have made the decision to not display their faces... but two of my very favorite pictures of my babies are below. The first picture shows my girls holding hands. My Juliette's hand is bigger and stronger while Mariah's hand is smaller as the lack of fluid had affected her skin. I love this picture so very much because my sisters are my best friends and it brings me some comfort to know my girls have each other in heaven.
This next picture shows my girls' perfect little feet.
How very softly you tiptoed into our world.
Almost silently; Only a moment you stayed.
But what an imprint your footprints have left on our hearts.
This is the first piece of clip art I found the morning after losing my girls and it has been my facebook profile picture ever since.
The following images are ones I have found on Pinterest.
The above sculpture is from Dana Truesdale at The Midnight Orange. I keep it next to me on my nightstand.
The following images are all taken from the Grieving Mothers facebook page. I found the page not too long after losing my girls and they post many pictures and poems for grieving moms.
